I joined Dehns in 2007 after working as a Fellow of Queens' College at the University of Cambridge, where I was conducting research in plant development. Prior to my post-doctoral research, I graduated from the University of Durham in 2000 with an Honours degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. I then moved to the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge where I was awarded a PhD in 2004 for research into the perception of the plant hormone cytokinin. Consequently I have practical experience and expertise across a broad spectrum of molecular biology and biochemistry fields. I became a Senior Associate in 2019.
