In this podcast we look at Designs as an IP Right:
- What are they?
- How do you get one?
- What value do they bring to a company?
- And how should they be used alongside other IP Rights, such as patents and trade marks, to create a structured IP Portfolio?
Dehns Patent and Designs Attorney Dave Paton explains all in this pint-sized, jargon-free episode.

"Designs are what I would call one of the more shy IP rights; if they were people, they'd be found towards the back of the room, whilst patents, trade marks and copyright would be competing for the spotlight. However, I would argue that designs have as much value to a business as any of these other IP rights - they are part of a toolkit of Intellectual Property Rights."
